DAY 2 CASUALTIES; O’SECTECH, BAREKESE, DWAMENA AKENTEN, ASTEC KICKED OUT!

It was a memorable day of soccer action at the seven qualifying venues when battles were fought by schools in their quest to grab a ticket to the round of 32 in the ongoing inter-schools colleges soccer competition of the Ashanti Region under the auspices of the Inter-schools and Colleges Sports Federation of the Ghana Education Service.
Seven schools have confirmed their participation in the last stage of the ongoing Ashanti Regional inter-schools soccer competition after day two of the qualifiers which came off today at various centers.
Barring all protestations and agitations, these schools will be part of the last round 32. However qualification did not come on a silver platter after these schools managed to secure qualification against all odds.
There were huge upsets and shocking results in day two of the qualifiers as defending champions O’SECTECH succumbed to Bankoman SHS at Prempeh College though the Obuasi based school claims to have a solid protest to overturn their results.
Asanteman qualified at KNUST grounds. Sakafia SHS qualified at KUMACA whiles Bankoman qualified at Prempeh College. Ejisuman qualified at KASS. Akrofuom qualified at KUGISS.
Barekese SHS also failed to qualify to the last round of the competition after failing succumbing to CODTECH at Armed Forces.
